SM Cares Coastal Cleanup: A Motion Towards a Much Better Tomorrow

In the very first half of 2025, over 8,500 volunteers gathered more than 70,000 kgs of trash.

From January to June 2025, SM Cares set in motion 8,571 volunteers at various SM malls and coastal neighborhoods across the country. Their efforts caused the successful collection of 70,887 kgs of garbage from shorelines and waterways. This effort becomes part of the company’s ongoing dedication to disaster durability and environmental management, specifically crucial during months when blocked waterways and marine pollution intensify the results of heavy rains and metropolitan flooding.
