The warmth of the Hawaiian people perfectly complements the island’s temperatures. With its ideal geographical location and with constant temperatures, the Hawaiian Islands can be visited at any time of the year!

The Spectacular Nā Pali Coast

Known to be one of the world’s most stunning landscapes, the Na Pali Coast, was first made famous by the Hollywood Blockbuster Movie;

🦕 Jurassic Park 🦕

It has a breathtaking shoreline that seems to have a ripple effect, making it just one, of the hidden secrets of the many; Attractions in Hawaii.

Go on a scenic boat ride, learn more about the culture, as well as the; geographical landscapes, that make this area stand out.

Explore caves, swimming in waterfalls, 🤿 snorkel with turtles and go dolphin and whale watching.

Expert hikers can also hike the eleven-miles Kalalau Trail, traversing through five valleys, taking up to a full-day, each way.

Most of these activities are ideal during the summer season, this because the north shore, can get a little bit rough during the winter months.

Waikiki along with its gorgeous stretch of oceanfront beach, is one of Hawaii’s most popular attractions. It is well known for its picturesque beaches, surfing, fine resorts, shopping, entertainment and dining.

Hike through the Waikiki Historic Trail which has markers made out of surfboards, inspired by the Olympic gold medalist swimmer and avid surfer,

Waikiki’s Duke Kahanamoku.

Take a leisurely walk along the beautiful {Waikiki Beach Walk} filled with shops, restaurants and street entertainment galore!

The very popular areas like Kuhio and Kalakaua Avenues, are where most of the; boutiques and restaurants can be found.

There’s also the  Diamond Head State Monument located at the end of a crescent-shaped beach.

This area served as an excellent vantage point, for the island’s coastal defense.

Pearl Harbor And The USS Arizona Memorial

USS Missouri and Pearl Harbor Memorial

A National Historic Landmark, Pearl Harbor is a U.S. Military Base that earned its spot in history, during the 1941 attack by the Japanese in World War II.

In this area, now stands several attractions including the USS Arizona Memorial, which is floating above the sunken ship. There are parts of the ship that can still be seen peeking through the water.

Touring the memorial is free, although you should secure reservations beforehand.

Drop by at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, which also serves as a meeting place for several tours. There’s transportation to; Ford Island, where the Pacific Aviation Museum, featuring; WWII artifacts and aircraft.

Visitors can also experience what it is to land on an airplane on an aircraft carrier in a flight simulator.

Other attractions in the area are USS Utah, USS Oklahoma, and the;

 Battleship USS Missouri

Found on the west side of Kauai, 🥾 Waimea Canyon State Park often earned the nickname;

the “Grand Canyon Of The Pacific.”

The canyon reaches a depth of up to 3,600 feet and is over ten miles long. This beautiful spectacle can be best viewed from two primary lookouts.

The Puu Hina Hina Lookout and the Puu ka Pele Lookout.

The Parks landscape has rock strata that vary in colors, combined with several scenic waterfalls. If you wish to do some 🥾 hiking, guided tours are available. There’s also rafting tours to explore the river, deep below the canyon.

There’s also Kokee State Park which offers additional trails that are fit for all hiker skill levels.

 

 

The Polynesian Cultural Center

Most certainly, the very famous and extremely popular attraction on this Island, is the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Located on Oahu, it is less than an hour’s drive from downtown Honolulu.

The center features live dance, music, craft demos, and much more.

The Polynesian Cultural Center depicts the culture and the everyday life of the Polynesian islanders.

Guests can take a day tour at the facility and/ or witness a spectacular culture show during the evening.

Check out the Hawaii Tropical Garden that houses more than 2,000 species of plants.

Heading north, pass by the wonderful Akaka Falls and the Kahuna Falls.

Also, be sure to drop by the World Botanical Gardens where the triple waterfall;

Umauma Falls and the Mauna Kea are located.

There’s also the Laupahoehoe Point, serving as a lookout to the Pacific.

Visit the {Kalopa State Recreation Area}, and hike some of its excellent trails.

Then drop by the lovely – Town of Honokaa!

Finally, the drive ends at the iconic; Waipio Valley Lookout.

This site, once served as a home to … King Kamehameha.

A wonderful place to learn more about Hawaii’s unique marine life and ecosystem. There’s the huge {Living Reef}, home to thousands of fish and around; 40 different coral species living in the Pacific.

Visitors can also walk in an underwater tunnel, the 750,000-gallon Open Ocean exhibit.

This is an attraction the whole family will love!
