I saw there is brand-new put on my path towards home. So I visited it today for my lunch break. Osteria da Mauri is concealed on Mali trg (Little square), between Mala ulica in Trubarjeva ulica. It was good weather and I beinged in the garden. On the menu they have breakfast, antipasti, primi piati, secondi piati, dolce, normal italian restaurant. But I picked from daily menu Vitello Tonnato.
Vitello Tonnato, Osteria da Mauri, Ljubljana This dish from Piemont is typical browse and grass, veal covered with tuna sauce. I got it on table rapidly with some bread. Good presentation with vibrant cherry tomatoes and big capers. I tried it for the very first time. Taste is excellent combination and excellent option for fast treat or antipasti. I paid 19.4 EUR for meal, one drink and tip, a bit pricy.
