Gregor had tickets for Morricone show as part of Festival Ljubljana and he could not go. So he passed tickets to me and Simon (63EUR). With Uber I showed up few minutes before show started in Križanke. We were searching for our seats. Found them in last row in corner, good it was not still drizzling. Worst view but noise was okay. Girl beside me took of her shoes and socks throughout concert?
Music composed by late Ennio Morricone was performed by his kid Andrea. The concert featured popular orchestras RTV Slovenija Simfoničnim orkester and L’ Orchestra Roma Sinfonietta. Likewise exceptional vocalists from 2 choirs (Mešani pevski zbor Glasbene matice Ljubljana, Ljubljanski madrigalisti in solisti) and solists where there, soprano Vittoriana de Amicis, harmonica Luigi Mattacchione and violin Vincenzo Bolognese.
The program of show was divided into seven parts: Suite Untouchables, Committed to Giuseppe Tornatore, According to Pereira, Suite Leone, Scattered Leaves, Movie Theater 1 and Suite Objective. The concert lasted around 90 minutes. Andrea was rather energetic on phase. All of timeless music carried out with more then 100 individuals on phase left good impression. Euphoria of gold was probably most powerful and performed twice. Quick stop at Livingroom bar were Julie selected us up and drove home.
