It is motivated by the DOT’s flagship Philippine Experience Program: Heritage, Culture, and Arts Caravans (PEP), which was released across the nation. Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco officiated the ceremonial tee-off at the stunning Mimosa Plus Golf Course. We have always understood that the Philippines– with its sensational landscapes, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality– together with more than a hundred first-rate quality golf courses throughout our islands, has all the makings of a world-class golf location. What was required was an intentional effort to position golf within our wider nationwide method, not only as a sport, but as an experience that brings together play, culture, along with community,” Secretary Frasco emphasized in her speech.

She noted that the occasion, attended by partners from the general public and private sectors and members of the Diplomatic Corps, reinforces collaborations among all stakeholders and promotes the Philippines as a top traveler location and market chance.
Furthermore, she highlighted that the launch of GolfEx in Clark “is no coincidence,” as the area has become a premier leisure and golf hub with first-rate global airport and centers.
For her part, Atty. Devanadera revealed self-confidence in Clark’s readiness to host significant golf competitions and other sporting events.
” Clark is all set for the golf tournaments and all kinds of sports tournaments, and we would like to inform you, and to reveal you, that the secret here is synergy– synergy amongst the locators, synergy with the government firms, synergy with our foreign pals, and above all, the leadership of the Department of Tourism, under, obviously, the assistance of our President,” she said.
The kickoff occasion was attended by a number of key figures: Michelle Taylan, Founder and Chairman of the International Tourism Business Association (GTBA), and James Montenegro, President of the Tourist Congress of the Philippines (TCP), alongside DOT Undersecretaries Shahlimar Hofer Tamano and Ferdinand Jumapao.
